Emergency Connectivity Fund
The Emergency Connectivity Fund provides $7.2B to reimburse schools and libraries for the purchase of connectivity services and equipment for students, teachers, and library patrons in remote locations.
The first filing window for these funds will prioritize prospective purchases, allowing schools and libraries to seek funds for future services between July 2021 and June 2022. If funds remain, another filing window will open to reimburse schools and libraries for retroactive services purchased between March 2020 and June 2021.
Eligibility is based on school or library participation in the program and the school or library’s determination of eligible households.
The Program provides funding for schools and libraries to buy:

• Wi-Fi hotspots
• Broadband connections

The FCC’s Emergency Broadband Benefit Program offers a subsidy to help pay for Internet service to eligible households impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Eligible households in one of the qualifying groups, may be eligible to receive a monthly discount of up to $50 per month (and up to $75 on tribal lands), to help pay for Internet service. This program will run six months after the end of the pandemic or until the funds have been expended.
Qualifying Groups:
• Lifeline Eligible
• Laid off or Furloughed since February 29, 2020
• Free or reduced school lunch or breakfast program
• Pell Grant recipient in the current year
This program is available to both new and current Suddenlink customers.
Altice Advantage Internet provides 30Mbps service at the low rate of only $14.99 per month, with no annual contract, discounted installation and free equipment to any household in our service area that meets the below criteria:
• Eligible for the National School Lunch Program
• Eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and 65 years of age or older
• US military veteran receiving state or federal public assistance
