Can I use more than one IP on a device?

Yes, but we recommend using port forwarding when possible.

More than one IP should work on devices with more than one interface as long as it is set to allow them on our equipment. Please call us for “Cable Host Authorize” to be entered for you. That is the only way to get more than one IP to work at a time.

You will need to request an update to the Cable Host Authorization if you ever change any of that equipment including the modem.
